  I had a fantastic experience visiting Desert Bistro a few days ago with my wife -- I never expected to find a restaurant of this caliber in a town like Moab. Our server (Bridget) was extremely friendly, professional, and competent, and the menu had a really nice variety of options from the "new American" genre -- including even fresh fish flown in overnight from places like Hawaii and Australia. The flavor and presentation of the dishes were uniformly excellent, with particularly delicious appetizers and mains. (Dessert was the only part that didn't quite reach the high bar set by the earlier courses, but it was still decent.) Can't recommend this place highly enough to anyone looking for a sophisticated dining experience in Moab -- just remember to make a reservation to make sure you can get a table!

  If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Interesting dishes that were well curated to delight the senses. The experience was memorable and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch. A must visit if you're staying in Moab.
